Warnings and Known Issues
Warnings:
Users should be aware of the following:

The program can be very memory intensive especially if a scan results in
many tens of thousands of files listed for replacement. If you don't have sufficient memory,
then the performance of the tool during scans could be slow.
Rough figures for peak memory used during a scan are listed below:

After initialization - 6M

Scanning resulting in 0 replacements found - 8M

Scanning resulting in 8,800 replacements found - 14M

PFrank has been designed to work on Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME/98(with or without
user profiles enabled), and Windows 95.
The program has been tested with the following Windows operating systems:

Windows XP (professional and home)

Windows 2000

Windows ME (profiles disabled)

Windows 98 (profiles disabled)

Windows 95
Bugs:

It is possible to open multile help windows.
Workaround: Don't do it; you only need one.

The icon column of the Detailed Information window does not show icons for
shortcuts.
Also, if you had files with a ".xxx" extension and associated it with program XYZ by
using the MS Explorer, right-click a ".xxx" file,
select "Open with...", select program XYZ, and told Explorer to
"always use that program to open ".xxx" files". Explorer will show
all ".xxx" files with XYZ's icon but PFrank will show whatever the original default
program was.
Workaround: None.

Sometimes the bitrate, duration, and type are displayed incorrectly for mp3 files of
a multi-track CD. ALBW format is OK.
Workaround: None.

Cannot set file attributes for unicode files/folders.
Workaround: None.
